Enjoy the whole Sawyer experience in our charming property, featuring two distinct homes surrounded by large pecan trees. This listing includes both the main house and a separate guest house, perfect for large groups and families, sleeping up to 12 guests.
The main front house, originally built in 1940, features 4 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. You'll love the historic details like original hardwood floors, antique glass doorknobs, and a cool reclaimed wood ceiling in the entry. The master bath has a walk-in shower, while the second bath includes a tub/shower combo. The home also includes a large, cozy carpeted basement.
The separate guest house in the back offers another 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom, providing extra space and privacy. Both homes are fully furnished with stylish modern decor and feature 5 queen beds and 1 full bed, all with comfortable pillow-top mattresses. The kitchen is fully equipped for any cooking you may want to do during your stay.
While the home is over 100 years old, it comes free of worry with a brand new high-end HVAC system and new plumbing. For your convenience, we also provide a dedicated workspace, a Pack ’n play/travel crib, baby safety gates, children's books and toys, and board games for all ages.
Guests will have full access to both homes
I am available to meet in person, but prefer to communicate through the Airbnb App.
Our home is ideally located in Lubbock. You can see Texas Tech University from the street, making it an easy walk to campus. You are also within walking distance of local shops and boutiques.

Perfect size for me and my friend group to come in town for a Texas Tech game! Reasonable distance to walk to the stadium as well

Let me start by commending Marisa, she was extremely communicative and her response time was impressive!! She was fantastic. The house is cute, well decorated 100 year+house. The rooms were spacious and the guest house in the back was great. The yard was nice but the furniture was not usable, I believe the tree above has something dropping from it that leave everything under it sticky, we found it on our car each day too, it was parked under the same tree. That could be seasonal? I did not report that as I didn’t feel there was anything that could be done. They did come mow and blow the yard the first day. The few maintenance issues a reported were all taken care of immediately. Things I wish had been different. Was the privacy issue. All of the curtains in the house are rather sheer so when it is dark and the lights are on in the house, everyone outside can see everything inside.

The house was perfect for our stay with 3 couples (and for one night, 3 students). It was close to everything Texas Tech.

This was a perfect house for our stay in Lubbock for my daughter’s graduation! We had a total of 8 people (7 adults & 1 kid) and had plenty of room between both houses! Having a full kitchen in both houses was very convenient for our families! It had nice sitting areas in the backyard for our morning coffees! Everything was clean when we arrived and Marissa was super responsive in her communication! I would definitely recommend this house for any family that is looking for a home in Lubbock and wants to be close to campus!
