Tech Terrace or “UNIT,” as locals fondly know it, is a neighborhood with roots dating back to 1925. Originally developed as Lubbock’s first intentional suburb around Texas Tech University, it’s cherished for its historic bungalows, ranch-style homes, and a tapestry of residents from longtime professors and families to students and medical professionals.

Wander its tree-lined streets, and you’ll quickly feel the pulse of community, neighbors gathering at J&B Coffee for morning conversations, locals joining trivia nights at Goodline Beer Co., or families strolling past Tech Terrace Park’s summer concerts and kite-flying festivals.

With free parking available at the cottage and its central location, exploring Lubbock and the surrounding area by car is simple and convenient.

Pets: We are happy to welcome your pets! They must be supervised at all times or kept in a kennel. Pet owners are required to clean up after their pets in the yard to avoid a fine. (Pet fees are collected during the booking process).

Pets must be disclosed and added to the reservation in advance. Any unauthorized pets brought onto the property will result in a $250 fine

No Smoking: This is a strictly non-smoking property. Any evidence of smoking inside or outside the home will result in a $150 fine.

Local Bookings: Please note, bookings by local residents are not permitted and will be canceled immediately upon confirmation.

Security: For your safety, security cameras are installed and record the exterior front door and top balcony areas.
